This is an interactive and educational application which will benefit flamenco dancers and musicians in improving their rhythm (compas) in a fun and effective manner.
This application helps to improve the flamenco enthusiasts sense of music timing by tapping the phone screen to the correct accent in the rhythm selected. We have chosen to begin with a popular flamenco rhythm of "Buleria". The tempo can be changed with a slider. When done correctly the participant will hear shouts of encouragement along their way such as "Ole". If ALL the accents are hit correctly the participant will receive a maximum score and an "OLE!" at the end of the run.
